My sister got me this strange, dried plant-in-a-bag for the holidays this year, and it sat on a shelf for two months before I finally decided to take action. It's branded as a "Resurrection Plant" because it can live in waterless stasis for... well, for months at least, but probably for longer (the package claims years). The plant comes from the desert, so it's a pretty good survival strategy.

I hastily set up my camera, as an afterthought, to capture the plant's return to the living. The batteries died twice, and I ran out of space before the plant completely unfolded, but this video captures the best part.

The original video is 1600x1200, and it's absolutely stunning at that resolution. Sorry youtubers, but you'll have to make due with a little less.
