The hypnotized person actually sees the hypnotist and knows he's there, but he has been commanded to think he's invisible. So the man has to act like he doesn't see him, and act like he doesn't know the hypnotist is there. That's why this isn't as good as it looks.

@XanderI8 This is not fake, everyone has his own reaction to hypnosis. In fact, this subject knows he was going to be hypnotized so there is nothing to get flipped about.
