Neriamangalam is quaint old town in ernakulam district of kerala.It is the gateway to the high ranges including famous places like munnar.The Ghat road toward adimaly was built in the year 1103 Malayalam era ie about 80 years back.The bridge seen in video is the neriamangalam bridge built in 1935 by HH the Maharajah of Travancore.The periyar river flow beneath it and is muddy as seen due to the rains.The climate immediately changes once one crosses the bridge from the heat and humdity of the rest of ernakulam to cool climate of the high ranges
