i like watching raw clips with them unmuted cause i feel like im right there watching.

Why i ride the way i do.
if you notice me "gunning" mac through the 2 stride. there are a few reasons.
one is we never got a good distance to it, always a chip. So i had to push for a two or hold for a three. Since this is jumpers i thought pushing for the two would be more time saving and more comfortable for my horse.

If you notice me making mac go slow at some point or me "pulling" well yes i was.
why? because he was either, rushing, cross cantering or on the wrong lead.
and i don't want him being unbalanced through a turn, rollback or on a straight line while rushing. so i do my best to ask him to stay slow.
besides using my reins i also talk to him, which you probably can't hear.

In the combination it is supposed to be a 2 stride to a one. and mac has a relatively short stride for a 16 hand horse. So i was staying quiet to get the three and pushing for the one. It worked all three times. and Yes i get popped through the second time. But i explained why in the video :)

Also if you notice that i "sit down to early" well i am sitting down at the right time all of the time. why? because when im riding a combination, to a skinny to another jump with three stride in between each. I have to sit down and ride. I don't get to school all my jumps before hand so i need to ride them all so we have no run outs or refusals kay? Plus my horse is not effected negatively in any way by me sitting when i do.

Why do i say all of this in a giant essay?
because i know what you are all either "hating" or "critiquing". I know these things. and i ride MY horse a certain way because ive trained him and OWNED HIM for TWO YEARS. i know what he spooks at, which side he runs out on. when he is rushing and when he is just going forward. what his stride is like. what he CAN DO and what he CAN"T DO. i ride for the most effective and safe way for MY HORSE.
so if YOU think you can do ANY BETTER.
come to bucks county, bring 15 bucks and take him into a class.
we shall see how you do ;)

You look awesome, your horse is super cool. & I don't think you should have to explain yourself but I know there are people who will attack you for whatever reasons they can find. Which is absolutely ridiculous and pathetic. But good job anyways :) Looked way better than any of my competition stadium rounds!
