here you have it, possible the worlds 1st of its kind, light, compact crane that fits on your backpack, and is ready to film in seconds. once balanced with counterweights produces silky smooth shots just like the big Buck$ movies in Hollywood.

in the coming weeks and months we will show you how to adapt the DSLR-DEVICES Crane/Jib to do dramatic time lapse shots like in this video.

  • May I know if this micro jib can do tilts? Is there a control for tilting the camera as it goes from the floor to full height? Useful for shots where the you want the subject in the centre of the frame all the time.

  • @bamboopictures you can control via your tripod fluid head

  • Its extremely overpriced for a jib that only reaches a few feet. It's forcing most people including me to go the DIY route instead. If they dropped the price to comparable models around $180 US I'd reconsider and I'm sure a lot of folks would too but hey....if people are spending money for it, why stop?

  • I'd also like to know... :-)

  • i want this :)

  • is it ready for purchase yet?

  • DO NOT BUILD THIS ON YOUR OWN!! My friend and I built this with PVC (not my idea) and it did not work out so well and can I buy this and get it shipped to America and I know how much it is in pounds (£) but I need to know how much in American

  • @orphanpixels no but maybe your the genius, good idea !

  • @DSLRDEVICES Is it anything to do with a hole in a bottle of water? If so, you are DIY gods!

  • @sanikmne thank you, at the Canon Pro Solutions we had alot of positive feed back from people liking it. We appreciate you valuing the idea and time it takes to refine the simple things, it was a simple idea, but the crane was design that it would fit in a post friendly/cost effective packaging so we can offer further savings.
