Actually Its always a mixture of the editing software you use and the camera itself. I noticed in low lighting the quality wanst that great, but once you got outside it got alot better. The Microphone sounds good, and you can hear really well. It is a little unstable, but for someone looking for simplicity, and HD.. This is an ideal camera.
