Ultra pro is my favorite brand for comic bags and boards and I tried them all! What brand do you like? Did you pick it because of cost or another reason? Lemme know I'm curious. Maybe I should switch??

  • I've been hesitant to buy boards online since everyplace i have checked charge and arm and a leg for shipping of boards. The shipping is almost the same amount for the purchase of the boards...essentially doubling the price of the boards. Currently i can go to my local shop and they will give me a discount on bulk orders, so i usually buy a years worth or so at one time and get a pretty good deal.

Yeah it was one of the toughest things for me to find first of all and at a good price just for the items and shipping was a bitch to find a deal on. Since this video though I found a comic shop that has the same ones for only 9.99 bags and 7.99 for the boards. Not sure if I have enough for a year but def. enough for now! Thanks for checking my vid out too

  • I just put in an order to E-Gerber, i've heard they're the best and one of the least expensive. You can even get custom size boards, which I did (fullbacks).

Sure no prob! Being its in the 90's its still officially "current" for me when I say old I go back at least to the 70's

  • @ComiCCloseup thanks for the help:) and also just out of curiosity is a comic book like from 1992 considered and old issue?

  • @AwesomeOne513

As long as you have them in a comic box or as long as they don't get moved around a lot they would be fine without a board. if you had older issues I go with mylar bags as they do not decompose over time like the regular plastic ones... even so they last a really long time so I wouldn't worry

  • @ComiCCloseup just current issues

  • @AwesomeOne513

Do you mean if you only use a bag? Without the board the spine of the comic could easily still get damaged. Are you wanting to bag and board just current issues or some older ones that are worth some money?
