@p8ntballer8491 mine had up and down to but the knive has no chance of disengaging you should be good still

@p8ntballer8491 Mine squeaks a little, I hit it with tuf glide and it's still kinda make noise and stuff. I much prefer phosphor bronze - I might need to break mine in a little more. Glad yours is smooth though, it's a cool knife for sure.

@BladeReviewscom Really? Mine is honestly one of the smoothest knives I own (once you get past the strong detent that is).
-
@stebolicious008 Not really sure. I love my HEST. I also have always wanted to handle a ZT0300 but havent gotten the chance yet. I hear good stuff about the ZT. I think where the HEST wins is the fact its about $100 less.

Which would you recommend for a new Heavy/Hard use tactical folder...
DPX H.E.S.T or the ZT 0300

I want to like the knife, but I am absolutely disgusted by RYP and how he handled the ESEE thing. Too bad it didn`t work out for them.

@BladeReviewscom Biggest gripe would have to be the teflon washers - mine squeak! And my knife does NOT like being waved.
This knife took me a little while to warm up to, but i'm really digging it lately. I've heard some people experience blade play. Have you had that problem? Thanks for sharing this great knife.
