How are you managing your time? Are you getting the results you want?
Maybe you keep a diary and have daily, weekly or even monthly "to do" lists for all your priorities. If you have a team you might even go as far as scheduling in time for weekly catch ups with each member to see what they're up to and how you can support them
Yet often the tools and techniques we are given to manage our time focus on keeping up to speed with the day-to-day, hitting our targets or fulfilling our KPI's. Very few focus on the future.
Your role as a leader is to help people create that future, to paint a picture of what it looks like and excite people about their role in getting there.
You've got to do more than respond to what's in front of you.
In this video Paul Mitchell of The Human Enterprise will examine the "Three Types of Time" that exist in any executive's life and explain why you need to address all 3 to be an effective leader.
