The Promise-Pt1

The Holy Spirit baptism and Biblical Evangelism are inseparable!

"The Promise" is a video lesson on the holy Spirit baptism, called by Jesus, "the promise of the Father". We are commanded to be continually filled to overflowing with God's spirit. This is NOT the same as being "born from above" at one's conversion to Jesus from following sin's lusts and Satan's rulership. The baptism of the holy Spirit is in addition to receiving your regenerated "born again" spirit after repentance from your autonomy and rebellion to God and your sinful conscience.

The Great Commission can NOT be attempted without FIRST being baptized in the holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues, which is your personal prayer language as we shall see in Part Two.

This is classic Christianity which birthed the new testament church 2,000 years ago on that famous Day of Pentecost feast which marked the beginning of the fulfilment of prophecies centuries earlier. This event and promise received marks the beginning of Biblical Evangelism which contains open air preaching, healing the sick to confirm the gospel preached, and spreading the doctrrine of Christ without which noone can be eset free from sin death and GOd's wrath in an eternal inferno of liquid burning sulphur!

Perhaps the topic of open air preaching seems irrelevant to you. You could never see yourself standing up among strangers and preaching the gospel to them. Perhaps you lack the courage to do such a thing. Congratulations; you have just qualified yourself for the job. If you consider yourself a 'nobody' with nothing to offer God, you are His material. Now all you need is a compassion that will swallow your fear and a conscience that will give you no rest until you break the sound barrier.
