  • British Reyrolle switchgear! Sorry I just realized you're in NZ so maybe I should'nt wave the UK flag so much! Reyrolle sadly now part of german company Siemens :-(

  • @kevvywevvywoo In NZ we use a lot of British equipment.

English Electric, GEC, Reyrolle UK and Reyrolle Pacific

  • @RODALCO2007

Look after them! We dont make them any more!

  • @kevvywevvywoo Thanks, these subs will eventually be upgraded to ABB SF-6 switch gear over the next 10 or so years to come.

I still like the good reliability of oil CB's.

  • @RODALCO2007 hope they dont get rid of Reyrolle as the new ABB stuff is CRAP!!! I konw as I worked on them and alot of Engineers hate these things ...Burn outs, arcing, noise, and flimsy coke can construction!!! and constant control problems Seimens not fair any better!!!

  • @Bignadim Thanks for sharing that opinion. There are often commisioning issues already with the ABB sruff.

It is flimsy and I don't think it will last the time.

  • In England actually had British Thomson Houston (BTH), BT Bertram Thomas Switch Gear, GEC We already know, EE (english electric), Hawker Siddley, Brush, Whipp & Bourne, SW&C SwitchGear & Cowens ltd. ReyRolle and Electric Construction. whats left is Brush owned by over seas group. I liked the old GEC stuff so solid now its shit like ABB in London we still have Vintage Seimens Switch gear that solid but so old its open copper work from the 30`s barely insulated same goes for anciant GEC stuff.

  • About time the relays & LMT gear was upgraded don't you think?

  • Great vid
