The Union for Reform Judaism's (URJ) Religious Action Center (RAC) is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year and this film was produced to honor it's beginnings as a partner in the civil rights struggle in the 1960's. It tells the story of how the Reform Jewish Movement stood by Martin Luther King as he marched in St,. Augustine, Florida and how it was a White Reform Jew named Kivie Kaplan who served as the head of the NAACP for many years. This film was produced by Jeff Brody of Omni Video Creations who has produced videos for URJ for over 20 years.
