Dune 2 - The Battle for Arrakis (Mega Drive/Genesis)

Level 3 with Atreides. This is the very first level where you *really* have to take an offensive strategy. This mission's objective is to get rid of Harkonnen on that territory.

i remmember wgen i played this game with brother about 12 hours until we unlocked all 9 levels of all 3 rases. btw i think i will buy sega again :D

The game actually plays really well, I popped it in a few weeks ago and sure it doesn't compare to modern games control wise, a bit slow, but it's not that bad.

I would love a real Megadrive & MegaCD, but I wouldn't go out of my way if an emulator can do the same thing.

I would like this for the Wii VC, though. Actually, a Wii-enhanced version of Dune II would rock!

The question should rather be "why would I make love to a real girl if I can make love to a genetically modified girl grown from a toe-nail in a Tleilaxian vat that can change eyes, hair and skin colour and body constitution by will alone in accordance with my desires?" @howitzergun Emulators are not fake. They're much handier and allow you to play almost every game that has been made for the respective console. For example where I lived you couldn't just go out and find a game like D&D: WotES. Ebay didn't exist back then either, and if it did exist I can only imagine how much they'd charge for... any game, for that matter. If I ever had the choice I'd play the game on console but emulators are just as good since getting used to keyboard is no big deal, really.

@howitzergun @rot105and Oh, c'mon guys I know it's the NOSTALGIA that is after you! Not actually the gameplay or the feeling you know... I play the emulators and even with my fave game I got bored after 20min, but I won't play more on a real console either. You should get outside and seek the new feelings that are around you...my guess is that you are grown up men now and should be of better use to the humankind. You've changed, but the games are still the same (or even got worse lately, hehe)
