Hi Samsarajade- emember me! Your pictures on the beach reminded me of my wedding day. We had no money, no real honeymoon .. but my new bride and me, we walked the length of a beach to buy fish and chips. Our second meal as husband and wife. That's why each year we eat fish and chips to remind us of what is real and of worth. And I'm so much looking forward, in a few weeks time, to celebrating for the 31st time in exactly the same way. @electrofriedmr I'm actually quite amazed that you just posted, as i was for the first time in many months looking through my old blog-and was literally reading a comment you made in reply to one of my posts about memories of the past and slides you found.

I think romance is in the little gestures and simple words shared between two people. Considerations and courtesies given; an unselfish desire to bring joy to another.

Lovely to see you on camera again, I've missed your YouTube contributions.

For me, being romantic is all about spontaneity and imagination. It's definitely not about a box of chocolates on Valentine's day. It's little texts to ask how my day is going, it's using lyrics to express feeling and most of all, it's the small gestures that give me the rather cliché'd little butterflies in my tummy.

I would consider myself to be romantic, but not in the conventional way most people are!

So great to see ya again Tia!! Beach vlogs gotta be good and you didnt have that loud windy beach sound to have to talk over. Considering my wee bitter heart, and cynicism, I suppose my def of Romantic...Its the moment for me, all the small parts of something that come together, in just the right way. Intentional romance, is never memorable. Its what happens, when you dont plan anything, but the light hits just the right spot in your heart!

I'm an incurable romantic, and a diehard realist. It's not a compatible combination. I fantasize about how i feel things should be and assess the way things are.

Sometimes i try to meld the two worlds to balance the way i think they should be, but the natural order of things humbles my enthusiasm, in an illuminating fashion. JV

I feel i'm romantic and much like most things about my personality, romanticism with me can have it's quirks. Life to me is about the little things and i love getting lost in them and sharing them in a relationship. Flowers, cassette tapes, revisiting special places, a night drive ... Anything can be romantic with the right company :)

Me & Aaron don't do the 'materialistic' romantic things on the dictated days like valentines or whatever as we hate the fact its commercialised, although I like the sentiment behind things like Valentines which is why we make each other something. We aren't as 'romantic' as we could/should be but thats cos we don't have time, but then the fact he runs me a bath when I come home from work and puts me a coffee in there is definitely romantic enough at the moment! Or random bunches of wild flowers.
