Why in gods name do you have the extractors on, when you're trying to give a demo? You can't hear a thing!

@mrfredwin I only found out when I got there that the extractors had to be on at all times even if I wasn't cooking on the stove. I wasn't thrilled on myself.

Ive been making me grandads soda loaf for years now. This is the pure and simple method to do it. The only difference is that me 'eld Gradad used to throw in a handfull of oats in the mix.

IRISH SODA BREAD IS WONDERFUL STUFF THERE A BAKERY CLOSE TO WHERE I LIVE THAT MAKES THE BREAD. ONCE A MONTH I PICK SOME UP SOME IRISH SODA BREAD ALONG WITH SOME MEXICAN MENUDO SOUP THEY MAKE ONLY THING GETTING UP EARLY TO PICK IT UP THE SOUP TENS TO GO FAST IN THE MORNINGS. I SEE LOT OF FOLKS PICKING UP SOUP WITH POTS IN HAND.

@thehealthyirishman - no rolled oats or bran? If you add rolled oats or bran, do you increase the amount of buttermilk? And why didn't you add any butter or oil?
