Good question! "Deculture" is a term that originated in the original Macross series; it was originally a cultural term, but now basically means "Yay!" as far as I can tell.

Yoko Kanno just rocks. I recently bought all the Macross Frontier soundtracks, and it's just fantastic. One of my favorite Kanno soundtracks (though it's always hard to say which is "favorite," since they're all so different).
