  • what mat would you recommend? To work on.

  • @1sweetbonbon I have tried a number of different embossing mats. Pergamano® has a couple of good ones. Christine Coleman has a good rubber mat if you are heavy-handed with your embossing tools. If you are watching your pennies, a foam sheet (from the craft store) also works pretty well. But, my favorite is the PCA embossing mat, which I was using in this video.

  • I cant do this to a hundred or more cards. But an interesting video!

  • @PiscesTrini I bet you could do this. It just takes some practice.

  • @dirtypollow27, I know some gals that dry emboss cardstock cutouts, such as flower petals, but you wouldn't get good results using a whole pattern on cardstock. Remember that cardstock paper fibers are not made to stretch as the heavyweight vellum is.

  • Excellent video. :)

  • can you use this technique on card stock? What is that padding you used under the paper?

  • Now I know you need to emboss from the back I did mine from the front.

  • needs lot of patience in here!!

  • @YBWTube traditionally, you place the parchment paper over a pattern and trace it, either with inks or white pencil. Some techniques do not use tracing at all, but are worked over the pattern.
