I'm always saddened to hear of religious conversions of any sort. Almost as sad... is when we hear of a religious person becoming an atheist. That means that somebody crashed seamlessly from the confines of one restrictive worldview into another. Seamlessly, because they never allowed the two worldviews to co-exist within the same instant.
