  • Watt giving all bassists a lesson here, this is what happens when you try to show off and play every trill and variation. just listen to that solo, Jesus fucking christ... don't get me wrong watt is an outstanding bassist, clearly off his face on that day lol

  • As muchas Ilove Mike Watt, Barlow's wall of fuzzy chords is so essential to the Dino sound that it doesn't feel quite right with all those fills.

  • no lou? no murph? no thank you. This sucks. Glad they regrouped because, for me, it isn't actually dinosaur jr without them.

  • needs more cowbell

  • i feel so much love for this band, its so fuckin unique and special, this is one of my favorite songs of all times

  • Watt is clearly playing like that on purpose lol

  • To be honest, compared to everything Dinosaur Jr do, that bass solo was actually in tune and in time. Just from an outside observer.

  • @Chickenpainter111 watt is God, sloppy music calls for sloppy bass... love it. If you want tight, go listen to fucking Dream Theater or something.

  • Respond to this video... That's the genius of it all

  • to those of you shitting on watt:

j mascis isn't exactly spot-free. watch his performance of the lung on the craig ferguson. on top of being off tempo and out of tune, his solo sounds canned and he plays the chords toward the end one fret behind. "d'oh!"

no one's perfect, but seriously. don't fuck with watt.
