Yes Helen Carter is playing the Autoharp. I met her, Anita, June and Johnny Cash in the late 1970s. They were all very nice people.Best Wishes LittleCountryDJ

I remember this perfgormance and taped it but lost it when I loaned the tape to my daughter's boyfriend's dad -he then used the tape for copying some basketball game -

Thank you SO MUCH for this - now I have it again - it has been lost to me for 30 years - but not forgotten! I remember Linda had a broken leg from a skiing accident - as has been mentioned - and there is the cast on her foot - I had forgotten Ricky and Helen - --

I haven't seen this in years--thanks so much for posting! That IS Helen Carter on autoharp--wow! My grandmother use to sing this song absolutely beautifully around the house. I remember being surprised and very happy that Emmylou and Linda recorded it. Very happy to see this performance again. Notice the cast on poor Linda's foot--she had been in a skiing accident. Couldn't have been comfortable, still amazing performance.
