This is a demo of my TC Electronics G System Ltd effects/switching unit in combination with a Suhr/Custom Audio Electronics PT 100 amplifier. It's taken several weeks/months to get all this equipment set up properly but finally I've gotten things working pretty well I think. The audio quality isn't great on this demo unfortunately as I wasn't able to mike up the amp for the video and I had to use my mobile phone camcorder instead, but hopefully you'll get some idea of what the TC unit can offer from this demo. More videos to come on this unit hopefully over the next few weeks.

  • love the look of the neck on the guitar not. TYPICAL CUSTOM SHOP SAD RELIC,the necks look like shit and the money they charge for them is not good ,i know there good guitars but the relicing always looks so fake even on a 3k guitar ,no disrespect to you bud..they cant get the guitars to look old .they just look fake , and before anyone starts slagging me ,i own a 61 strat and i know what wear looks like.

  • @spudgun05 _ Maybe a fair comment mate, but I liked the guitar a lot and bought it S/H so it didn't cost me a fortune. I've actually sold it now for financial reasons but to be honest it was the playability I liked (and the sound) I wasn't buying it for it's looks. Mind you a 61 Strat ain't cheap now either...so your a lucky man to have one!

  • Perfect!!!!

  • Cheers!...and many thanks! Pete

  • Hi Pete,

Great demo of the TC gear. Very down to earth and great playing and tone. My question is, do you run through the effect loop of the amp, or the front of the amp? This unit seems to sound much cleaner and in our face than the G major 2 unit.

    Thanks

    Al

  • Many thanks Al, The unit was wired through the amp's effects loop. Hope this helps, Pete

  • HI Pete, I read in your comments that you used a Spider pedalboard. Which size are you using? I think they have three or four sizes. I like how everything fits perfectly with the two expression pedals. Thanks!

  • hi

how did you fix your g system on your pedalboard ?

    i'm afraid of putting velcro...

thanks and sorry for that bas question ...

  • Sorry pete, just heard you say you use the 4 cable method. Now I understand. Sorry about that, should have watched the entire vid before responding.

    Thanks

    Al
