@born2beli I ended up buying a more heavily constructed recumbent exercise bike (I'me used to clip on pedals on bikes, so I do need the stirrups) and I've lost 100lbs. since the last time that I posted on this page.

I am 6'5" and weigh 275. I have owned one of these bikes for 5 years and it's Gr8, especially how quiet it is and the place for the laptop is a big plus. You don't need to use the stirrups, they pop right out of the loops on the pedals. I went to Sears where I bought it and they told me how to take it apart and clean out the dust and it and now everything works perfectly again. It's the best exercise bike I have ever owned.

Please try the Spin Desk. It is a exercise bike with a laptop holder. Check web while exercising

I'm glad that I stumbled upon this video.
I was thinking about using my credit card rewards points to get one of these things. However, there seems to be quite a few problems with your bike, and you're a wee little thing. I can imagine that a large man would, like me, would destroy this thing in short order. Moreover, if you have trouble getting your feet into the pedal straps, I probably wouldn't be able to get my size 16 (U.S.) gunboats into them at all!
