Hey I have a problem with my preview window :| My video is occupies only a small area surrounded by lots of black stuff. I set it to "fit" but its still surrounded by a black screen

@ParcEntertainment thanks for the reply! Apparently when I rendered out of AE, I accidentally changed the image size, so it was smaller than my Premiere project size.
Good to know about the other settings, still. Take it easy!

Hey can you help me please? I'm new to premiere I used to use vegas. When I'm previewing my clip in the timeline, it's showing up really tiny with a lot of black space around it. How to I fix this? Are my project/display settings off?
Sorry for the newb question, I'm just so frustrated :(

@sammislawa Sorry I'm just now getting back to you on this. I'm sure you have already found your answer, but allow me to throw my two cents in. Based on what you're describing, it sounds like you need to adjust the settings of your program monitor. Under the program monitor you will see a zoom control with a drop-down menu. By default, it should be set to "Fit," but if it's set to a lower percentage, your video will be smaller in the window with a lot of black around it..
