Blues legend Hans Olson tells his life stories in his own words and through his songs. This video is part of an ongoing project about people with passion. Produced and edited by Stephen Michael Barnes and Uriel Jeremiah. And thank you, Hans.

  • Hans is no only the cream of blues...but apparently the best dam storyteller on the planet as well.

  • I came from DC to see the Redskins-Cardinalss game in 2005. That morning, I saw Hans perform in the outdoor seating section of a restaraunt for Brunch in Tempe/Phoenix on Sunday December 11, 2005. He was incredible, outstanding! I think the name of the restaraunt was Sugar Daddy's. Great food to go along with his ear catching talent. That experience along makes me love Arizona.

  • I've known Hans since I helped open the Rhythm Room in Phoenix in 1991. I have many many memories of him and if ya ever buy him a drink it's a B52 or ouzo! The first time I played in front of people was in front of Hans Olsen and Rena House. God I was nervous. Love ya Hans.
