Yes, I was at the 2007 Chicago air show and also witnessed this demonstration. Nice that you captured some of it on video. I've seen a lot of air shows, and that was one of if not the most awesome demo's I've ever seen. The YF-22 is one hell of a flying machine.

Oh yeah for sure. A lot of the moves it does will get the pilot killed in many circumstances. I'm sure it can do things that are good in combat but either it's too unsafe at low altitude or they just don't advertise it.

You know what? You are probably right! I was at an airshow (2007 Dallas) where the f/22 only showed 30% of what it's really made of! Makes you wonder what this fucking jet is really capiable of doing. USA # 1

Yeah, that was a good flip indeed, just as long as you have enough flares onboard and there are no enemy wing-men behind this maneuver, to catch it in mid-flip.
Same thing goes for a Mig-35 and Su-30/35BM of course.
Otherwise it's some pretty cool trick flying.

The very last maneuver you see....where he flps and and continues on....I went to Toronto twice last year to watch and on the Sunday (2nd of 3 day event) he did that like I have yet to see....it was a really fast and precise flip with what looked like zero change in altitude. It probably shocked the pilot how damn quick it was because I haven't seen it any other place. It was crazy. This jet does more than we have seen.

LMAO!!! Amen to that!!!

amazing video. I wasn't aware the Raptor was that maneuverable. To do that with a real combat weapons / fuel load, is probably something that publically known Russian planes cannot do, perhaps no Russian plane at all.
while they're are other aircraft that have greater maneuverablility (i.e the old X-31), no aircraft with the combat power of the Raptor can even come close.
well the only russian fighter thats as manueverable as the f22 is the su37 flanker they have thrust vectoring nozzle like what the raptor has its what gives the f22 and su37 its manueverability
