@5litreho Because the 301 sucked, and the 305 is a Chevy and this isn't a Chevy. My '80 Turbo had a 455 and oh what a Godsend that engine was over the 301. :-P

Why does this car have 400 in it when it should have been either a 301 or 305 Chevy?

It had a 301 in it but the 400 is a better motor so I rebuilt a pontiac 400 and put it in.
