  • @tappakeggaday1 OK, now you mention bee stress, I've heard a lot about "bee stress" lately on different u-tube videos. Mother nature equipped bees to cope with all kinds of situations on a daily basis in their natural hahitat, this is why they've been around so long. Once you do a comprehensive study of bee culture in their natural environment, bearing in mind their natural preditors, like honey badgers & bears. What the bees do if a badger wipes out halt their brood & kills the queen as well.

  • @mugsyjeff yeah this is obviously a commercial strip mining of honey,it's no wonder here in Florida they have a high honey standard,to try to keep the cheap stuff out. Also the the video here clearly shows no regard for the bees themselves like they are expendable.this take what you can get approach hurts the bees, doesn't leave them stores and stresses them out way to much.these guys need to be schooled again and learn patience.

  • @tappakeggaday1 They may not be looking for the same quality honey you or I are used to. It looks to me like they move into a group of hives, take everything they can & move on. I hope you get into bees yourself, it's a great hobby. I've been keeping them over 20 years & still fascinated & learning new stuff. There's a great video by Moody Ins. of Science entitled "The City of Bees" fantastic. anyway, take care, cheers for now,

  • @mugsyjeff yeah on this video they are uncapping way to little and then seeing how it pours out really lets me know they must do a lot of heat processing to get more of the moisture out..I would have waited till about all of the frames were capped honey before cutting the caps.would have been of "higher quality".

  • @tappakeggaday1 The part that was capped might be the only honey on the frame. The rest might be completely empty or unsealed brood, which would have ended up in the honey. These people might like the larvae in the honey. The sealed brood, left sealed, maybe still ok after spinning, I don't know. I wouldn't do it. This video makes me realise how fussy I am. I deal with "Ripe Honey" on my honey video, how I get the best possible honey. I'm amazed there's not bees trying to eat the honey being ext

  • @aandjwynn I usually love to watch the bee videos and I dont raise bees myself but hope to one day, I had a lot of problems with this video.1.not enough capped honey for extraction which means the moisture content is very high.2@ about 1:17 on here were those drone cells on that frame?wern't they supposed to leave those frames alone?this might actually be good news, let them keep fucking up and we will be selling them our bees at a premium price.

  • Using the lid as an upside down honey super. Interesting. Is the the kind of ingenuity that let them capture the American honey market? Or is it because every one there makes 3 dollars a day. I really would like to know who owns this farm.

  • @iamduvern

I have my own bees and my own garden. I don't give a shit what the American public wants. If they don't start buying from local craftsmen and farmers soon, they will go without. Starve. If it hurts China's economy, then I guess they can just eat the shit they used to send here. It's all filthy shit and deadly.
