Musical excerpts from a rehearsal of The Toronto Consort's production of the "Praetorius Christmas Vespers". The concert reconstructs a possible vespers service for Christmas as it might have sounded in a large north German church. The music was composed by Michael Praetorius in the early 17th century, and the production is directed by David Fallis. Video, sound, and editing by Bill Found (Dalvorem International).
Toronto Consort performs Praetorius Christmas Vespers in Toronto December 10, 11 & 12, 2010. For more information, http://www.torontoconsort.org/season/schedule.html#2

It was a glorious evening. It's a real pleasure to be in the audience and to share in the beautiful music - and David's marvellous humour.
