  • I filmed this clip and had the honor of drinking with Davy that evening as we were at the front of a very long Q at the Kings head he came to say hello to us. I can confirm he was drinking soft drinks, here's a picture of us on the night you will notice he is drinking lime cordial. flickr.com/photos/brotherg/162237414/

  • It's Capricho Arabe by Francisco Tarrega

  • thx dzzjj

  • God bless Davey. He went across the guitar firmament like a shooting star and illuminated the path ahead for younger troubadors to explore. He will be remembered for so long as six strings are tied to a box.

  • Any clip of Davy is worth having now that he's gone from us, but it's so sad for me to see this performance when I think of what he was like in the 60s. I jammed with him on several occasions at the Cousins as many of us did - and was blown away by his playing then. He's always been a major influence for me and many others, and was a dear, if sometimes difficult man.

  • I feel like crying...RIP Davy Graham. He is my hero.

  • this is so cool.

  • @49greekstreet As I was drinking with Davy that evening i can confirm he was drinking soft drinks all night

  • @eazybho I think you will find he wasn't drunk just years of absorbing stuff.I never once saw Davey drunk @ the cousins , high maybe drunk never.

  • I totally agree i cannot watch this to the end it saddens me so much , i fully realise age takes its toll but he has lost it here by whatever means. To see Davey in full flow @ the allnighters in the cousins was certainly a sight to behold,he broke a 4th string @ the beginning of The Fakir he didnt bat an eyelid just pulled the string to oneside and carried on, a true genius . watch Davey play all of me with all his runs an embellishments everything just fits , not notes for notes . Rip Big D

  • Amazing interpretation.

  • @anglinthemtns you are wrong about that, Davy released tons of classical material over the years, it's just so many people haven't given his full discography the listen it deserves. Davy is still miles ahead of his time, the world hasn't caught on to what an unbelievably talented and original musician we've lost.

  • where can i get accurete scores of this good stuff. I mean for free?
