@HolaLoretoHola I think most people can tell that he missed the high E but for God's sake let it go. Imperfection is what makes live musical performance so amazing. Can you play this piece with perfect intonation every single time?

OK. It is amazing and I love it. But am I the only one who thinks that he complete fails the upper E at 1:00??
Anyway, very good version

Wonderful cellist! Thank you so much for sharing this with the world. Isn't there a part III ?

If you want to see something push the cello to its limits, look up 'Kodaly Cello Sonata' played by Janos Starker on youtube. That should blow your mind! :D
I adore this by Debussy, and Gendron plays it the best I think

I don't play cello, But It sure looks like this piece pushes the instrument to its limit. Blows my mind every time.

amazing compostion and performance. love Debussy and Gendron, both soooo cool lol...

Debussy sure was a great composer!
Who ever gives this masterpiece of playing a thumbsdown deserves to have their head impaled with the cello stand.

this is the only performance that really does this justice. Youtube leave it alone!
