@stevin47 both. And only for defense if the assault is less than lethal. Anything more than lethal requires more force than a taser. The primary use is against combative suspects.

Sue this cop! Our Supreme Court ruled that law-enforcement officers can ONLY use their tasers in life and death situations. Sue and you will win. Once this cop is fired, sue him in civil court.
