@fergusix The single seater Indycar felt like a big go-kart really. Didn't feel like 130mph at all, but that's to be expected on a big track like this. It was fast enough to build up some "g" in the turn. More than I was expecting, but I was really wanting another 30mph or so. If you want to really go fast and you don't care if it's an Indycar or something else, you might try one of the Nascar "schools" like Petty Experience. They'll let you run 170mph and stay out all day probably.

@jtw62074 hello, could you give some info on the driving. i want to give it a go when i head over in october.
these cars look so slow, would it be better and faster getting in the nascar instead?

They do. I did it the week of the 2010 race. Single seater car does 130mph if you're flat out. The lead driver will just take off and leave you in the dust if you go full speed. I came out of the pits and let off a bit in turn 2 because I got a little close to him. Then he just took off and I was full throttle the rest of the way. His car is faster than yours and he won't hold you up at all.
Definitely was a good time :-D

when i do it..im gonna be on the lead drivers ass...and then pass him in the short chute, theyd better mean it when they say your speed depends on comforability
