horse rescued from icy pond

Pencil, a walking horse, fell through the ice on a pond in Melbourne, KY. About forty firefighters, a technical rescue team and a large animal rescue team worked for about two hours to puil him out.

@pizcochiqui Let's see, that was not the first time Pencil got into the semi frozen pond. Doug was sucessful in getting him out the first time without calling 911. I recently released Pencil from a barb wire fence! Barbed wire is not appropriate fencing for a horse. They can get tangled and hurt themselves badly. Doug does not take care of himself or his animals. He recently let his dead dog lay across the road from his home for months! He laughs about tying a goat to a railroad track. Jail him!

well aside of that religious crap, I agree. Animals should benefit from humans evolving into the alteristic super species we've become.
