Defense Against 2 or 3 Attackers
by Vladimir Vasiliev of Russian Special Operations Units

You face an attacker? Then another appears at your side? Now you hear a noise from behind? This is the brutal reality of small group attacks ? by 2 or 3 cruel assailants. This is THE threat scenario that most martial arts don?t teach, don?t want you wondering about, and don?t want to admit it even exists. Because it looks like the toughest of all.

There?s only One Way Out: Study to overcome the most ruthless threat you?ll ever face directly from the professional who has faced it himself and survived it all: world-renowned master of Systema ? Vladimir Vasiliev of Russian Special Operations Unit.

Learn what it takes to break the attacks, deliver and avoid multiple strikes, kicks, grabs, timing, distance, preemptive moves, single blows to multiple targets, redirecting and lightening-fast short work, disarming knives and sticks, indoors and outside, as well as the previously unrevealed mechanism: Transformation of Strikes.

Thugs don?t take chances ? they make sure the odds are always in their favor. YOUR only chance is to turn the tables and
When the Odds are Against You ? Beat Them Down!

  • It looks easy when it's choreographed!

  • Understandable it may seem that way if you havent tried Systema first hand. In fact, in ANY Systema DVDs, demos or classes nothing is ever choreographed, prearranged or rehearsed. All moves are spontaneous, natural & free. This makes Systema different. Unrehearsed response IS the only way to acquire true skill & be ready for any attack. Those who studied Systema with Mikhail or myself have experienced this spontaneity. If not, you are always welcome to check out any training sessions or events

  • I trained at Toronto headquarters and trust me mate it is not rehearsed at all - watching Vlad work is incredible and believe me systema is a great martial art - I learnt more in 5 weeks than I learnt doing 14 years of other martial arts.

But don't take my word for it - try a class - it will be a life changing decision. Good luck to you

  • @Patrickthedutch

straight up in systema you learn much faster.

systema is a methology of learning and discovering. There are no techniques or katas or list of names to remember.Just major concepts and a lot of excercise and learning to relax and feel comfortable

I have done Aikido .You learn much faster in systema.

and it is lights years ahead of karate

Systema seem to me what aikido should have been

  • Great DVD,buy it...you will be thankful you did

  • wow! That guys a freakin animal!

  • I could watch, do and talk about Systema all day. Love it. In fact, nothing I don't love about it. Wonderful. I'm going to go before I start going on about how good it is. :D

  • @Patrickthedutch : i got 10 yrs of, tai chi, aikido, and judo in 4 days of systema. im now 3 yrs into this.

i haven't changed my style ever since. this works for me bro so no superiority in my book

  • great video. In fact one of his best.

easy to learn from and in fact when you watch it you will even wonder why you yourself did not realise what you could have done against multiple attackers

  • he looks so chill and nonchalant about fending off three guys lol

  • this may be one of his top three videos.I love this DVD

    I like "in confined space"

After watching his knife fundamental DVD I was bitten by the systema bug

  • @kamizarei

wow long time ago you posted this.

    I hope you still reply.

I know for a fact that in aikido they strive to be empty in your mind while you fight.

The last dan have to fight like nobody is "there".

In order to achieve that you have to practice for 15 years 3 a 4 times per week.

How is that going in Systema ?

    Very curious.
