Electric Bidus 1 - Riddu Riddu 2011

I was in Norway for the 20th Riddu Riddu festival. I was lucky and got into the performance on Friday the 22nd of July. Not being Norwegian and not speaking the language, I can only say this was a collaboration lead by the lead singer Georg Buljo. The singers represent the indigenous voices of the far north. Sami is the indigenous language of the Sami peoples of Norway. The group includes a throat singer from the Canadian north. If anyone can provide me with the names of the others in the group that would be cool.

Later this afternoon...Norway was hurt to the core.
