  • @shichiren07 Hi, I picked -6, -3, 0, 3, and 6 because I knew that when we multiply by the fraction -2/3 and I didn't want to worry about trying to graph fractions or decimals. When we graph equations using a table like this, we can pick any values for x that we want to. For example, if I picked -2 for my x-value I would have: (-2/3)(-2) = (-2*-2)/3 = 4/3 or 1.333... Which isn't as nice to graph. So, I always like to look at the equation and pick x-values that will graph easily. Thanks!

  • The "m" stands for the slope of the graph, so in this case the -2/3 is the slope of the line. Thanks for watching!

  • In the title, it has the equation: y=mx

    What does the m stand for?  Is it, in this case in the video, the -2/3? I just want to make sure.
