Soviets lost aprox 22 million and germans lost 11 million (including killed sivilians and prisoners) Germany killed half of it's soviet prisoners and 17% of german prisoners were killed. Soviet deaths are high also bechose 65% of them were peaceful people. And sovites also killed (rare) german sivilians but numbers are below 100 000. I also readed your conversatin with

@lefrance, Russia has many of those problems as well like immigration.160 different nationalities and minorities in Russia, only about 80% of people in Russia are even Russian.I completely agree with you on the problems that America is currently facing. Also, I believe america did Contribute to the allied victory at the end of WW1, and even if they didn't does it really matter?And many things made the cold war end as well as like you said how the overspending led to recession .Good day friend =)

Agreed but America has always entered the war late and for that they had fresh new troops available to fight. Russians are getting very angry towards minorities now. I think half the worlds skinheads are now in Russia and from what I hear 50 percent of the population or around that thinks like that.

Yeah, Only if Americans and their leaders thought that way, illegal Mexican and Cuban immigrants come here everyday and they're allowed! But if a man from Europe comes illegally they send him back. And what's worse, they try to make Spanish an official language! The nerve of these people!!! I wish something could be done, not only for america but at least every european country who faces this problem.

I meant just for the Battle of Stalingrad, but you have to admit those are staggering statistics. It just goes to show that WW2 was perhaps the most tragic occurence in human history. Not just for Mother Russia, Or the Fatherland Germany, But the entire family!
