  • I have fired possibly thousands of rounds with corrosive primers over the past 40 or so years. I clean my guns that fired these rounds using Hoppe's No. 9 solvent. This solvent was designed for this. It works great! I've never had any rust or pitting in the bores or on the rest of the metal after using this stuff.

  • @metisman100 Too bad is costs a buck a shot. You cant beat the low cost of Russian surplus.

  • @IRedArmyI It neutralizes it, but you still need to clean it like any other rifle

  • @pugwash27 The gas tube is not chromed sooo lol.

  • @Dirtboxhor sks has a crome bore so you can fire corrosive ammo and not worry.mosin nagant dose not tho

  • My Dad use to use hot soapy water on the old O3-A3, pretty much the same thing as you are doing, with a bit of soap

  • Great video! I had a box of ammo left in moving boxes get rem oil all over it and now the ammo has a dark green film almost like wax on it. Is it still usable if I try and clean it?
