George Barda has been a social & environmental justice campaigner and activist for over a decade, and has worked at a number of development and environment NGOs including Concern worldwide, Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace. He has recently completed a master's degree in Environment, Politics and Globalisation at King's College. George shot to fame with the Occupy London protests when he spent weeks camping in St Paul's Churchyard. When the City of London Corporation took legal action to evict the protest, he put himself forward as a litigant in person so that he could mount a completely different defence from the one organised by the camp as a whole.
