The History and Review of the Fallout Series Part 2

In Part 1, I talked about the origins of the Fallout series beginning with the inventive Wasteland by Electronic Arts. I explored the heart of the series in Interplay's Fallout 1 and 2, and talked a little about Fallout Tactics with it's inclusion of real-time combat. I finished up without comment on the immature joke riddled console game Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. Now I continue the journey of the franchise in Media Consumes Me's History and Review of the Fallout Series Part 2.

i for one have over 400 hours of gameplay on fallout 3 and i can confirm it is.... the best game EVER made. and i love the colors of fallout 3 and i think the colors of New Vegas ruin the mood. wirch i so dearly loved in fallout 3. and i tought operation anchorge was one of the best dlc and mother ship zeta and the pitt the wourse since it took HOURS to beat them both and your traped inside them, but mother ship zeta is probably the wourse with its *un able to go back into the rest of the ship*

@gamerboss007 Because Tactics and BoS shouldnt be called ''Fallout''. Those games were terrible and adding to the franchise sequels to 2 crappy games is something people DONT want to do

I have never played any of the other fallout games besides 3 and nv but I love them and bethasda's games

@Teeheehee093 also, i would like to hear, ALL the chat npc's had. and, i would just roam the wastelands, doing what ever i wanted. i was bassically invincible well, lets just say i was as strong as fawks but,with more damage.

@Teeheehee093 its simple, really. multiple play through's the max i had on ONE of my chars was 220 hours, i still play to this day. i cant stop forever. i have to play it a couple hours every week/mounth XD anyways i dident play the game for the quests, even though i finished all of them on my 220 hour char. but the dlc's helped i wanted every trophy on fallout 3. but even then that was after 150+ hours idk how i spent that long. not to mention all the crash's it had on ps3.

The combat in the older games is alot more tedious. Fallout 3 has the best gameplay ever.
