Thank you. I'm very close to Darryl's dad and I often got to be Darryl's substitute in his absence. Darryl was an amazing person. I made this in order to help anyone who knew Darryl remember all those wonderful things about him. I miss him and I know his dad, family and friends do as well.

i started at lord and taylor in december, 1988. darryl was the L&T logo artist. i still think and talk about him to this day. for almost 25 yrs i still constatly dodle the L&T logo and tell any young person who will listen how it used to be done by hand each time. by daryl. farewell old friend. joe necci

Thank you so much for putting this together. I only just found out about his passing and am absolutely gutted that I can't get to the East Coast in time for the memorial. He is a friend in the truest sense of the word. When I got into a rough situation he was the only person who believed in me... A gentleman, a scholar, a beautiful human being. Goodbye my friend.

What a beautiful tribute. I am a person who only knew the NYC Darryl. We met soon after my arrival in NYC and together we had such wonderful times. And I have only found a handful of people with whom I can have uncontrolled laughter. Unfortunately, I have lost another one of those wonderful people. Darryl I sadly release you to finally meet so many other friends and family who now share your address.
