@AitosSaibankan So just what was the reasoning for having it be impossibly hard? Chapter 2 - save states are the only way to survive at all, and even then my units were either doubled or one-shotted EASILY.

@Demonhornz Well, now the actual reasoning I had is past me. Must've been something related to how easy FE8 is, how I like difficult challenges, actually being able to complete my own difficult chapters without much of a problem, and trying to do something similar to ChinaFE (which is similarly, but not quite, very hard). Something along those lines.

@AitosSaibankan I installed a patch (Darrien or something) that would make the regular game intensely difficult, and it sure did. But this is a spoof with different weapons and character setup, plus the difficulty is so blatantly ridiculous it prompted many to complain about it. I don't think enemies should be able to one-shot you in the beginning so easily - like throwing a javelin at Tana kills her. It's just...save states are NEEDED, and even then it's still difficult...

@Demonhornz I understand that making the game easier will make it more accessible and more people will enjoy it. Not to mention the glitches that need fixing. Many complain about the difficulty, but many others embraced it. They embraced the Save State need, and some managed without said Save States. After a few (or a lot of...) runs, you won't really need the save states, and the last half of the game is much easier (by general consensus).
