@Jamie165 - Oh no I hated Scritti Politti Wet wet wet were named after one of their song and I way prefer them!
I like more poppy sounding groups even my fav punk group Buzzcocks were more pop (ever fallen in love with someone, what do I get classics). I love people who everybody else professed to hate such as the brill band called Keane!! But THANKS anyway!!

@hoodsxi If you love Prefab Sprout as much as I do, you should definitely check out The Blue Nile. There were three outstanding pop albums released in 1985 - A Walk Across The Rooftops by The Blue Nile, Cupid and Psyche by Scritti Politti, and Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout.

Who are Blue Nile they cant have written songs like Paddy has. Waterboys are okay. = Prefab were definitely the best.

There's no one like Prefab Sprout. Paddy McAloon is without a shadow of a doubt one of the finest songwriters ever. Saw him live once in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. Awesome. And a bit like my other fav band of all time, The Blue Nile, doesn't release a lot of stuff (quality vs quantity I guess) but I would love to be able to see them both live a lot more often.

i bought this album because of when love breaks down..didnt know that i just stumbled on a very historic prefab sprout trip...im over 40 now and still enjoying it...Thank god for youtube for making it a reality..
