I'm new to the sport but I believe he flew it to the 12 o'clock position and lost the wind. It folded over and he didnt keep tension on the strings

Wow, what a jerk! Probably his kite is too big for that wind. And the kite isnt inflated properly. You should not be able to bend the thick ends of the kite with proper inflation, but you should bend the thin ends.
You can see that it bends too easely from the wind alone. Probably he had tooooo much wind for his first time!

Hey kitegirl. Guess you had to be there and know the guy. We thought it was hysterical and so did all our friends. The other video is even better. We were just busting on him. He was a beginner and later learned that his kite wasn't pumped nearly enough. We had it pumped so full we thought it would explode, but apparently it could handle a lot more. He's all good now. Thanks for your concern.
