Newark students discuss their experiences working at Beth Israel Hospital as part of the City of Newark's Summer Youth Employment Program.
More than 1,500 Newark high school-age youth are spending the summer gaining valuable workplace lessons through the City of Newark's paid Summer Youth Employment Program. This year's program involved more than 100 companies and organizations including NewarkWorks, Newark YMCA, Continental and UMDNJ. Over 8,000 Newark youth have participated in the City's Summer Youth Employment Program since the start of the Booker Administration.
