i think i might know how he does it..buhahahaa
not sure though. He says its "showmanship"but then there was this microexpression that gave it away ..but when he said "psychological" tricks and reading ppls "expressions" ...I was able to confirm this . One thing is for sure you wud need tremendous amount of confidence for doing this live not to mention the practice.

I used to think that his mindreading gig (one that he did with the dude here) needs some kind of pre-show work,or uses some kinda video cuts where they dont show us parts of the performance that contain something which may reveal the secret.But i've seen derren perform this over and over again in different interviews.now i feel that this has to be an impromptu effect.bt this is not nlp or cold reading,because he gets the exact names and words.but i cant think of what else it can be.amazing.
