We represented the Explorers' Club on the Cricket Crawl in our city 9/12/09. We were inspired by Sam Droege's presentation earlier in the day at the Club. We recorded several species of crickets and katydids in Central Park. Then we ventured over the Riverside Park where we made this recording. We visited the spot where Marie Winn discovered and Margo Adler recored this very rare NY species (thought to be long gone). Be patient for good sound quality. Enjoy! Walt, Beth and Malcolm Moore
