@kcm0m Here you are complaining about your job AND complaining about getting rental assistance when you got it! You strike me as a person who just complains about everything, even if he gets it for free! Perhaps an attitude adjustment is in order.

schwans lies. they cheat their employees and make them make up holiday pay. they will give you the day off, but make you come in the next weekend and make the day up. Schwans cheats the new hires on pay. they keep you as a trainee as long as possible and make you run and build routes of trainee pay do not trust schwans. 60+ hrs a week to run their routes and build their routes for only trainee pay.

with no heat and it being middle of winter he bundled up and set out to make history he quickly sold out of the now famous ice cream that is still made from that very recipe. Marvin sold the ice cream to rural delivery stops and by 1953 marvin was selling 120 gallons per day.

Schwan's first started as a dairy company consisting of of course milk, cheese, cream, and more. Marvin Schwan a son of one of the owners had a dream, Ice Cream, it took him several years until March 18, 1952 marvin had made 14 gallons of Schwn's Signature Ice Cream he drove a beat up 1946 Dodge panel side truck in Marshall, MN.

well this job is not a free ride so if you aren't willing to put forth the effort then quit.
-
thank you for replying to him to I was once a driver/salesman, my dad is still one after 22 years, they aren't treated badly they just have a policy on what they expect and some young guy who doesnt want to take the effort and thinks its a free ride to make that kind of money is wrong, if they take the effort and show what they can do management will only congratulate them and give them uplift and show them what they can make even further once they accomplish their goals.

You didn't even deserve the thought on hiring you, it takes 9,500$ to hire someone throughout the whole process. Just think you knocked on their door and they became a regular customer, that dollars in your pocket. I am 24 years old and I see this concept, I don't know what is wrong with young twirps like you in the world today. Do you not see more customers equal more dollars.
-
it used to be up until this past year it was 11 percent. I am glad to hear that you are a customer and glad no matter how they feel about your job you continue service. Although it was 11 percent then, they are on a salary based pay now making unlimited amount of money, but the base pay is $38,000 a year after you get to your base pay based each week then you start making extra percentage. drivers who were making $88,000 are making close to $150,000 now. I've been around the company 22 years.
-
If a man is paid salary I believe they should have to work what is expected of them. I left due to medical reasons before the salary based pay started and I hate it. getting paid $38,000+ dollars a year and you are fussing. To make that without a college education is not bad at all, and if you have a education why are you at schwans? Also if you hate it so bad do all your customers a favor a nd quit today, cause a person who is burnt out only hurts the routes and integrity of the company worse!

I miss those days driving the truck in snow and ice, I had a flat nose truck and was pulling into a drive when it caught ice and actually turned my truck 360 degrees all I could do is hold on and hope that i wasn't ditch bound. I worked in west ky where we don't use chains.

i am a schwans man of 8 months and i hate my job!!!!!!!!!! They are slave drivers. Feel sorry for your schwans man cause he probably works 14 to 16 hour days 5 to 6 days a week, and then gets yelled at when he gets back to his depot for not selling enough that day.
