Way too much pedal for the hall's accoutics.
Nikolai recordings, however, are amoung the finest. His Clementi disk is superlative.

Great pianist. His Clementi is perhaps the best ever recorded.
In this concert, he seems to be using too much pedal given the hall's rich accoustics. Then again, it may very well be the recording quality that is at play here(?).
