FAQ:
Question: Because the two people were in each other's field, why didn't her thoughts bring him down?

Answer:
In the illustration with Janelle and Nick, she was holding negative energy when he was instructed to hold peaceful, loving thoughts. He remained strong in her presence, despite her lower energy. But after he raised his vibrational energy, she could no longer hold her negative thoughts, and consequently her arm stayed up. She didn't know anything about what Mary whispered to Nick to think... and suddenly without any coaching on Mary's part, her arm became strong!

That is the key to the illustration. In any situation involving more than one person, the higher (more peaceful, loving) vibration always is dominant over the lower energy. If you are not intentionally directing your energy and you encounter a person with negative energy, yes they can affect you. But if you are intentionally holding thoughts of peace and love, your energy will not be affected; the other persons energy will be elevated by yours.
